I am so sorry for missing January’s Note to Pastors. 

To be honest, it has been a difficult couple of months – the move to Kansas City, Gay being back in Phoenix, the new job, reevaluating life, etc. One of the bright spots has been my friends and my brother. I will be caught up in some project or problem, then a friend calls and it is like a light gets turned on in a dark room. All the weight of the problem melts away and my heart feels warm again.

This month I want to encourage you to tend your friendships. You don’t need a lot of them, and it doesn’t necessarily need to take a lot of time…a text, an email, a phone call. Be the light in someone else’s day, listen to the Holy Spirit and bring an encouragement. Tend your friendships this month.
