This month’s encouragement has been difficult to prepare, as I don’t want to come across as a fear-monger, but I do believe that God wants us to be prepared and know the seasons.
As you know, the Scripture tells us to ‘Fear Not,’ 365 times throughout the Bible, one reminder for everyday. Why everyday? Because we are surrounded by fear in the world, especially these days. Everyday we are bombarded from the media, social media, family members and friends, church members, etc. And for good reason – inflation and prices are at a all-time high, interest rates are at a 22 year high and going higher, the economy is crashing, the bond market is crashing, the stock market is due for a 60 to 80% correction soon, the American dollar is losing it’s world currency status, wars and rumors of wars, the morals of our country are under attack, etc. Phew! It’s exhausting just thinking and writing about it.
I am an investor, so I keep abreast of the markets. And I know that the next few months are going to be tough for a lot of people, unless you have prepared yourself and your sheep for it, both in the natural and spiritually. Joseph knew tough times were going to come, so he prepared himself, his family and Egypt for it. So did Noah. So did the ant (Proverbs 6:6-8). God wants us to be ready – get a bit of silver and gold, have plenty of food on hand, keep some cash handy at home – if you want to know more about how to prepare yourself in the natural realm, call me.
However, spiritually we can prepare ourselves by being reminded that God is still on the throne.
