There is not a lot of thanks in ministry. People come to you with their problems, you love everybody, but very few come back to say thanks. Jesus experienced this too (Luke 17:11-19 – Ten lepers healed, one came back to give thanks!)
But I want to say thank you…to you!
Thank you for answering God‘s call on your life.
Thank you for pouring out your heart, spirit and emotions every Sunday when you serve and minister to people.
Thank you for taking the high road when your flesh wants to take the low road.
Thank you for your continual belief in people and your family.
Thank you for staying married.
Thank you for loving your kids constantly.
Thank you for all your prayers for your flock and others, especially those prayers in the middle of the night.
Thank you for your faithfulness to the Lord.
Thank you for your faith.
Thank you for your trust in stepping out, when the natural does not look like it’s the right time or right thing to do.
Thank you for those lonely nights when it is just you and Jesus, on your knees.
Thank you for being a man and woman of God.
Thank you for your friendship.
Peter
