Throughout Scripture, we see God respond when we step out in faith, or pray that little bit longer, or read an extra chapter in our Bible. We see Jesus respond to boldness and faith, as in the woman with the issue of blood, the Samaritan woman reaching beyond her cultural boundaries, Zacchaeus, a prominent citizen, climbing a tree. You see, it’s a two-way street. God ALWAYS responds when we give Him something to work with.

My question to you this month is, “What has the Holy Spirit been talking to you about doing, that maybe you have been putting off?”

• Maybe He has been challenging you to step out in faith in an area, and you have been holding back, or putting it off?
• Maybe He has been calling you into your prayer closet, but it has just been too busy?
• Maybe He has been telling you to go on a retreat with Him, but appointments never seem to let you?
• Maybe you need to talk to a staff member or volunteer, but you have put it off?

Jesus loves simple obedience. “Just Do It.” Just say, “Yes, Lord.” Give God something to work with this month.
